The Galician Food Cluster elaborated a plan of actions to improve the positioning of Galician food companies in the markets, paying particular attention to the internationalisation and growing markets that are generating changes in the demand. Particularly, the Meet the Buyer programme develops a reverse and direct trade missions plan in order to establish direct relationships between companies producing Galician food and beverages and key buyers from different markets of international scope.

The objectives of the programme are to promote the establishment and consolidation of contacts for establishing agreements towards the internationalisation of associated companies, to strengthen the presence in the market segments with a greater expansion, and to strengthen the image of the "Galicia” brand in the food sector.
