Accessibility web design

The Food Cluster of Galicia intends the presentation of all essential content and functionality of the web are independent of the physical devices and web browsers used for this purpose, encoded with technical standards of free use, and accessible to browsers adapted defects or people with sensory, motor or cognitive limitations.

The European Union, in the Council resolution March 25, 2002, encourages Member States to take into account the need for digital content to be accessible and, following this recommendation, Law 34/2002, of July 11 , services of the information society and electronic commerce, requires that the government take the necessary measures so that the information available on its websites is accessible to disabled and elderly, according to criteria accessibility generally recognized before December 31, 2005 content.

Consistent with this objective, the web design Food Cluster of Galicia was carried out taking into account the accessibility recommendations for the first level of priority of the WAI guidelines of the W3C.
